I'm born on 20.09.1985, and I love to play games. When I was young I often played Amiga together with my older brother and it was so much fun, and also the music of these games was good at the time when PC games hadn't much more than the PC speaker cheeping.

My first PC game I played on my brothers PC with green monitor. It was a self programmed "Donkey Kong (c)" with a " S " as hero and " o "'s as tons. It's very the same to "Aldo's Adventure (PC)", but with less good graphics.

I'm speaking english, german, french and I'm learning japanese - and it's great to have such a big game music archive on internet - thanks to Mirsoft.

Alien Breed 2: Game rip

heart beats, some sparkling effects... that's how it starts. You hear always something that sounds like wind, and it builds the right atmosphere for this game. It's also listenable without having ever played the game.

Alien Breed Special Edition 92: Game rip

I like the song. It's not exactly from the game Alien Breed, but from the advertisement for Superfrog which comes before the game starts. But at 1 min 30 sec it starts sounding a bit darker than it does before. It's worth the small download.

Alien Breed Tower Assault: Game rip

This tune sounds like a military song, but at the same time it sounds quite horrible. The music is good made, you could use it on your halloween party. ;)

Agony: Game rip

Only the agony intro is quite listenable, all the other tunes are very short or quiet or only very slow, so that it isn't so much fun to listen to them. The agony intro is also not so interesting like other music, but when you like classic music or this game, it could be something for you :)

A boy and his Blob: Arranged/Remixed tunes

A nice tune. The intro sounds a bit like Indiana Jones, and in this remix there also follows in-game music. It sounds all quite nice, as it sounded on the real NES. It's worth downloading.

Moochies, The: Game rip

The music is very good - it has the same quality as the lemmings tunes. I could also hear some Remixes, for example a "Spy Hunter"-passage in the moochieslevel5.mod. I give this excellent collection of tunes a full 10 points out of 10.

Mr. Heli: Game rip

The music from Mr.Heli is loud and catastrophal. Sounds like someone made these tunes in only 1 minute. I can't recommend it. 1 point.

Manic miner PC: Game rip

The tunes from Manic Miner are all in one single MOD. But they weren't originally created for the game. It's like Lemmings - they're are all classic or other tunes, but they sound great.

Maniac Mansion (C64): Arranged/Remixed tunes

This tune sounds nearly like the original C64 version of the Maniac Mansion intro. But it's not exactly the same - that's why I recommend the .sid-version.
Because the Maniac Mansion tune is together with Zak McKracken's intro tune one of the best.

Maniac Mansion: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Dave's Theme on the Nintendo Entertainment System" (by Grizzly, 7 Nov 2002) [4/10]
The "dave theme" is a very rocking tune - and it's from the NES version of the game. It sounds nice but it isn't as perfect as the original tunes from the game (intro, LP).

Helicopter Jagd: Arranged/Remixed tunes

I did never play the game but the music sound very slow and like you are flying with a helicopter high in the sky and look on the ground. But it's nice - only bad that it was made with the C64 soundchip.

Earthbound: Arranged/Remixed tunes

How can I say? The music is very funny, it's a bit western style but also got jazz, asian and ambient tunes - several differently sounding tunes. It's a great mix of these musics but also has the uncomparable Earthbound flair.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2: Game rip

The music of part 2 is more jazzy than the first part - not anymore rock. But the game also got some good tracks that fit the game more than perfectly - i.e. the medieval music or the jungle music. It's a great soundtrack for a great game soon to get a third part :)

Jazz Jackrabbit: Game rip

The music is more ambient like, and also a bit rock-type (because of the guitar in some tracks). The good thing is that nearly every level of the game got it's own music, and it does fit the game perfectly. But it's nothing extraordinaire, so only a solid 6 points.

Brat: Game rip

This review is only about the intro music from BRAT, because I don't know where to get all music tracks from the whole game.
The intro is very melodic, with some funny instruments - don't know how they are called. It's one of these musics you can listen to the whole day (length: 3:38 without loop) without getting bored.

Magic Pockets: Game rip

Magic Pockets on Amiga has only one single music track in the intro, the rest of the game you hear only your footsteps and some enemy noises.
But the intro track is a great tune, the quality is very fine and it also has some vocal samples (no speech). It sounds like a real 80's-hit :)

But I gave it only 6 points because it's not my favourite style of music.
