The songs have different versions of them, which is nice eventhough I personally mostly prefer the originals, but they are all really good and worth checking out. Unreal Mission Pack 1: Return to Na Pali: Game rip "Another Unreal Mission" (by Warcow, 1 Sep 2003) [9/10] The Mission Pack soundtrack isn't something that was put together in 5 min, that's shown in the quality of it. It also keeps the sound from the original game very well. Unreal Tournament: Game rip "Run, frag and listen to the music" (by Warcow, 1 Sep 2003) [10/10] A very nice soundtrack with many "bloodpumping" techno songs which fits the gameplay itself. With less ambient tunes than its singleplayer predecessor, it's a little easier to listen to. Sim City 2000: Game rip "Sim songs" (by Flash, 30 Aug 2003) [6/10] These mods are game rips so they sound exactly like the ones in the game. I always thought Sim City 2000 had midi music, I guess I just didn't listen very carefully. The tunes in this pack are ok for background music but I wouldn't put these on my playlist. The mods are quite short and sound a bit dull but that's probably because I've heard them too many times. Note that these tunes are in .med format so you might need a plugin before you can play these. Quake 2: Game rip "Earthquaking music" (by Warcow, 27 Aug 2003) [9/10] The second Quake game has some really good music if you're a fan of instrumental metal songs. They are mostly built up by guitar riffs and has a cool, evil feeling overall. Burning Rangers: Arranged/Remixed tunes "It's great from a classic!" (by darkoon, 16 Aug 2003) [8/10] The game was great back in the saturn days, too bad Sega never wanted to re-create it when it could've done it with the dreamcast being out. Also, one of those nice classics are Knights, GEEESSH! will they ever listen to the gamers? Darkoon Catch'em: Game rip "Jungle music?" (by 9, 16 Aug 2003) [6/10] I have good memories of the Catch Em soundtrack, those fun little bouncy techno-Euro-pop dittes that I would dance to as a young un...looking back at them now, they don't come across as particularly engaging but they are still fun to listen to. I will say that this stuff could totally be on an Aqua album... ...take that as you will... Aufschwung Ost: Game rip "Alles ist gut!" (by 9, 16 Aug 2003) [7/10] This is an interesting tune. It's melodic structure is quirky and has a slightly dissonant, staccatto nature to it that reminds me quite a bit of some stuff by Devo or even DAF. I recommed it, it's certainly unique and dancebale, too. Konami Amusement Sounds '94 Spring "violent storm" (by lee jack, 15 Aug 2003) [2/10] Metal Gear Solid 2: Original soundtrack "good music!!!!" (by Rurutia, 13 Aug 2003) [10/10] this music is great!!!! i so love it!!! Soul Blazer: Game rip "Another great rpg ost" (by Warcow, 12 Aug 2003) [8/10] A nice soundtrack with some real classic songs and variety, it even has two versions of the "Town" theme with the second being a little bit happier than the other. It's just too bad the ripper messed up the "Intro" song a bit in the beginning but it's no biggie though. Diablo 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Who let the barbarians out?" (by Warcow, 12 Aug 2003) [8/10] This well known remixer does a good job on this one, mixing together the instruments nice and making a whole new melody of it. Icewind Dale: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Club remix" (by Warcow, 12 Aug 2003) [9/10] Based on a slow beautiful melody, this remix turns up the heat with its disco beats and groove and the outcome is great. Hero Quest: Game rip "And the Quest goes on" (by Warcow, 10 Aug 2003) [7/10] The first song is pretty good and the last one is okay but it's the second theme that's really nice and makes this worth downloading. Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar: Game rip "The Quest for good music" (by Warcow, 10 Aug 2003) [8/10] If they made a new movie based on King Arthur or something, they could use this music cause it sounds like old medieval compositions and it's really good. Mystic Towers: Game rip "excellent theme" (by regular, 8 Aug 2003) [9/10] Incredible music for its age, especially the number 2 mod. It suited the game's atmosphere like a charm (creepie and eerie) and it really added something special to the game. Leander: Game rip "enjoyable" (by Moriki, 7 Aug 2003) [10/10] If you have ever played this game, you will be hooked on the music. A masterpiece for such a game. 10/10 (A little slow on some songs, but great anyway) Take no Prisoners: Game rip "The Prisoner" (by Warcow, 7 Aug 2003) [7/10] Reminds me at times of the Heretic and Hexen music and that is of course a real treat but unfortunately it doesn't have the same type of strong melodies like they had. Goldeneye 007: Arranged/Remixed tunes "My name is Bond, James Bond" (by Warcow, 7 Aug 2003) [6/10] The first two songs is well done in a remixing point of view, some people maybe like them, but they're really not my cup of tea. However, the "Symphonic Caverns" remix is a really great tune which I think you should get and it saves the overall score. Asterix & Obelix: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Pax Vobiscum" (by Warcow, 7 Aug 2003) [8/10] A nice remix which is pretty long but it doesn't feel boring and that's a good sign.
