Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: Original soundtrack
"Best game soundtrack EVER" (by DaRkSiDe, 10 Oct 2004) [10/10]
I have to agree with everyone else on this one. The soundtrack to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is the best game soundtrack i've ever heard. And I thought nothing would beat the OST's to Final Fantasy VII & VIII... :-)

Alien Breed Special Edition 92: Game rip
"Alister Brimble in Action :)" (by Anubis1972, 10 Oct 2004) [8/10]
I know that he can make good tunes thats a good one the end is a little short cut but the rest is good.
Remember: Alister Brimble owns the rights to many tracks on the Amiga and all tracks of Team17 and is a nice guy, give him a visit at:
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/allister_brimble/

Apidya: Game rip
"Unusual for Chris H." (by Anubis1972, 10 Oct 2004) [6/10]
Oki Game Music but very simple for the stuff you usually heard from Chris. However if you think about a "shooter" then it might not need more :)

Crusader: No Remorse: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Nice but very close on the original" (by Anubis1972, 10 Oct 2004) [9/10]
Nice slow track :=) Not much changed from the original though--- its longer and some improvements have been made

Ghostbusters 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Good remixed version of Ghostbusters 2" (by Anubis1972, 10 Oct 2004) [8/10]
Without changing to much :)
Only thing would be the 8 Bit Quality which is a bit less impressive overall 8/10 I would say.

Crusader: No Remorse: Game rip
"Nice :=) (besides the M12 one )" (by Anubis1972, 10 Oct 2004) [9/10]
I think all Mods are great but for some reason the M12 would have to be redone ... Thank you for sharing otherwise great Game Music :)

I rate it 9/10 just because of M12

Final Fantasy 4 Original Sound Version (MIDI)
"Awesome!" (by Dave, 8 Oct 2004) [9/10]
I really like this set. I may not have the midi for the ones I really wanted, like fighting the Dark Knight or fighting the evil wall, but I got a good variety, as usual.

Parasite Eve 2: Original soundtrack
"Scare Inside" (by Darth Nefelim, 7 Oct 2004) [3/10]
Is it hard to become a composer? The correct answer depends on what're you going to compose. If you just want to make a totally atmospherical sound line then only software knowlege and diligence will be required. In any other case you will need something more. Except of making a terrifying sound chaos for a horror game.
As an active composer I've no right to rate to judge the work of another music maker. We don't even know his task at the start of composing. But I've a right to eject the CD and junk it out. I do this with pleasure. (A few tracks have been ripped, of course :)

Parasite Eve: Original soundtrack
"At the piano" (by Darth Nefelim, 7 Oct 2004) [6/10]
Another "square"-styled game, another "square"-styled sountrack. A lot of tracks, two discs, famous composer. And only 10% of charming themes, almost piano. Hey, it's not bad! It just too little for my expectations. But I was not dreaming of this soundtrack, I was just interested. My "hunger" is satisfyied, the rate is determined. But in deep of my music-addicted soul I stiil want more. More beauty!!! Less technics...

Body Blows Galactic: Game rip
"great game and great music mod." (by StreaK, 6 Oct 2004) [10/10]
Tunes from Body Blows and BB: Galactic is still the best tune i ever heard on amiga computers.

Dark Earth: Game rip
"Maybe with the game..." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [2/10]
...thesse song should have more sense, but all alone doesn't makes really it.

Cyberzerk: Game rip
"Very very Cyber." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [8/10]
If you like cyber music, get it now. Great beeps, claps, synths, skraps, clocs, mecs, pocs, tinks, dings, boings ¿?, etc... :P

Cytron: Game rip
"Cytron-Title break my CocoNut :-O." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [8/10]
Very good ones. Just "Cytron-Title" and "End" makes me happy, "Cytron-high" can be apart.

Cougar Force: Game rip
"WHAT THE HELL!!" (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [9/10]
This Song IS... outstanding... It sounds like Megaman, for a few seconds 007, and others I don't remember.
Get it, is really a cool one.

Mystic Towers: Game rip
"Set the Standard" (by Razorback, 4 Oct 2004) [10/10]
Ever since I played this game I was obsessed with the music, so much so that I plugged my soundboard into the radio and taped it.

Who would have though that a shareware title (a real fun one too!) could have such incredible music that has yet to be matched in terms of atmosphere? Awesome.

Cold blood: Game rip
"My popcorn is bleeding!!" (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [8/10]
The beginning really roll the rocks, the end disapointed me a little, but anyway is a very good song to keep inside the HD with the other mods.

Chain Reaction: Game rip
"WOW, Chain Reaction reacts in me X-)" (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [9/10]
Very great looping tunes, just four but no one dissapoints. All 4 are diferent from the other.
Get them!

Captain Dynamo: Game rip
"Funny :) songs." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [6/10]
Looks like they come from those (specially well done) 8bit midi tunes.
Makes me want to play a Commodore64 game.
T_T

Banshee: Game rip
"Not really good." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [4/10]
I didn't like it really much. Banshee-Title is ok; Banshee-Intro is not really ok; and Banshee-Ending is not ok.

Ballistix: Game rip
"1 song alone, but..." (by sds, 4 Oct 2004) [7/10]
It has adictive rythms and beats. Good to listen in a looping way (if you like this music).
