  • "Awesome" (by WILDFIRE, 9 Jul 2004) [10/10]
A big fan of game music, it means alot that I think this is one of the best soundtracks ever! Energetic and Aggressive, I was ready to buy the game jsut for the music untill I found it here!

  • "Behold, the power of TRACKER!" (by CheapAlert, 19 Jul 2004) [10/10]
It sounds so good I quickly forget it's even an .xm. For it's time (mid 1997), tracked game music sounded nowhere as good as this, even later Epic Games don't match up to it. Also have fond memories of playing this on my 486 dx4 120MHz :D

  • "Some great tunes, and some not-so-great" (by xarragon, 10 Jul 2005) [7/10]
Pretty nice tracked songs, I like the more agressive tunes. Some others are pretty dull and uninspirational.
I recommend that you load the tunes into a real tracker or a more advanced player, since there are alot of extra patterns in the end which you'll probably miss out on otherwise.

  • "A bit disappointed...." (by Tartantyco, 2 Jan 2006) [7/10]
-Despite the poor game itself the soundtrack was very good and I too contemplated on buying the game, not for the soundtrack but for one of the greatest intro movies in game history. It is truly a lost art, making great intros. Oddly enough I cannot find the sound track for the intro in this compilation and that saddens me somewhat. Nonetheless, many gems in this soundtrack.

  • "great music" (by sh4rksh4d0w, 11 Feb 2007) [10/10]
these r sum of the best game music ive heard
    its gr8!!

  • "stats track kicks ass" (by pwnage, 7 Sep 2007) [8/10]
First of all 7th legion sounds very similiar to the C&C series music by Frank Klepacki which is a high praise. Download it just for the "stats" track. We are going to war!

also Title track and track01 are worth mentioning. 7th legion as a game was great for the card system, videos (I can still hear in my head the into - "Our ancestors departed into the darkness of space, many lives was sacraficed to inure the safty and survival of man kind..." "your whole life was bound to this moment..you...are...the...choisen!" "the most powerful of those legions was the 7th legion"). The game mechanic was not-so-great, but hell yeah, music in this game is something to remember. Matter of fact I will break open my old dusty 7th legion case right now for a little re-visit after ....omg over a decade...

    absolutely agree!!

  • "Superb!" (by Dr. Spa, 17 Dec 2007) [8/10]
This is a great soundtrack folks. It's filled with great rhythms and aggression. Also, the songs are up to 20 minutes long so there's a lot to love. If you've got a banged out modem which can't handle this file, this is what you should do:

    Step 1. Pick up modem.

Step 2. Walk over to bin.

Step 3. Put modem in bin.

    and you're set!
