3D Galax: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Remix of the musc" (by theme-parker, 13 Jul 2004) [9/10]
Hi I like to make music with fruity loops studio 4 and xor the fruity loopsteam made a remix of it and it sond heaps cool and so does the old one.

Zelda: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"My favorite game tune" (by Crimson_M, 12 Jul 2004) [9/10]
File names aren't exactly well thought out, but the music is great and fairly accurate.

Warcraft: Game rip
"Blizzard made it!" (by Noidh, 12 Jul 2004) [8/10]
It's a good piece of music, and it's nice to listen after few years. It made a great climate ingame, but I think it's only for those, who played game and remembered soundtrack WELL - it doesn't sounds very cool now:P.

Bahamut Lagoon: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Bahamut Lagoon - What a nice game name" (by Dr. Spa, 12 Jul 2004) [10/10]
This IT is the best IT I've ever heard!!! I have heard IT 1000 times and I've never got round to reviewing IT. (Enough about the ITs ok, I just don't like ITs for some reason - maybe because I can't play it on PlayerPRO and I have to use stupid SoundJam). It starts off in a very orchesteral way - sort of like monkey island 2 - anyway it sort of turns into a march sort-of thing... I luv the stringz!!!

Berties Animal Kingdom: Game rip
"Bertie's animal hell" (by Dr. Spa, 12 Jul 2004) [2/10]
Usually when you download a package with a name like this (like Bill's Tomato game or Blinky's scary school) you know that the music can't be at all good. This music is too repetive uses weird chimes and weird "chinks" and "brians". A definate bummer!

Alien Breed: Game rip
"Spookey and spacey" (by Jono, 12 Jul 2004) [9/10]
Cool music. Fits the mood of the game perfectly.

Crusader No Remorse: Game rip
"Nostalgia... ahh....." (by Hellequin, 11 Jul 2004) [10/10]
I can remember loading up crusader and letting the menu run with the title music looping while I would do other stuff when I'd come home from school...
Crusader: No Remorse has some absolutely great music, and finding it here make me happy beyond words.

Escape: Game rip
"The MID version is better" (by Dr. Spa, 11 Jul 2004) [2/10]
first of all the escape which I play doesn't have this music, nor it uses MODS. These modules are very bad... no.1 is uhh boring and no.2 stays in your head for some reason dispite its crap. I say if you want to escape and be free go for the MID version -- one of the best MIDs I've heard in my opinion!

Dune 2000: Game rip
"Disappointingly soul-less" (by frostcircus, 11 Jul 2004) [4/10]
About half of this soundtrack consists of updated versions of tracks from Klepacki's excellent Dune 2 soundtrack. He claims that the way the tracks sound in this is how they were supposed to sound in the first place.

Simply put, he's wrong. I don't believe a word of it. Aside from the boring production, he's changed notes, chords, and generally made everything sound much more 'normal.' None of the new material is worth mentioning, either. It's just entirely bland.

So I suppose it fits the game perfectly. Just like the game, it's not unpleasant, but it's not memorable, and to be honest, it's not worth your time.

Dune 2: Game rip
"Great music, but a bit weird on GM..." (by frostcircus, 11 Jul 2004) [9/10]
Easily one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard; sadly these MIDIs do not do it justice. Given the limited technology, the game did a great job with its custom sounds (though my friend had to play with the sound off because the hihats sounded exactly like his alarm clock's buzzer), but when played on a GM setup, most of the tracks just sound ...wrong.

My score is based on the music itself. I set up my old PC just to install this and record the music on my newer system - I can't think of any other games I've done this for. :)

Jazz Jackrabbit: Game rip
"Rocks like Hell!" (by JM, 11 Jul 2004) [8/10]
I really like most tracks of this soundtrack, great melodies, pounding rock beats, lots of atmosphere and, most important, an enormous amount of energy and vividness that make the perfect jump'n'run score. I find it hard to stand still listening to these tunes. However, due to some weaker and slightly annoying tracks I only give it 8/10.

Lands Of Lore: Game rip
"An outstanding score achievement" (by JM, 11 Jul 2004) [10/10]
That's definitely one of my favourite soundtracks, made by a composer who really knows his job. Frank Klepacki just has a feeling for brilliant melodies that are far from common "background" music. These tunes really carry atmosphere and emotion and could, apart from very few ambient tracks, well have been used to score a movie.

Donkey Kong Country: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Jungle Blues!" (by JM, 11 Jul 2004) [9/10]
This soundtrack's really got the groove, especially the "Jungle Hijinx" music is a must-have. I remember how shocked I was when I first listened to that track on the SNES; I didn't knew then a game could have a soundtrack of that quality and variety. Even if you don't know it, give it a try!

Alien 3: Game rip
"That cool NES game..." (by av, 10 Jul 2004) [8/10]
Hmmm... did not find these tunes in fine format.

Maybe anyone will help me with this conversion to, say, midi, or point me to fine version of these tracks?

drop me an email to archvile<at>ukr<dot>net

Robocop vs Terminator: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"RoboCop vs. Terminator" (by The Terminator: 2029, 10 Jul 2004) [10/10]
Ah, RoboCop vs.Terminator, the old classic. RoboCop fans can download it at http://robocoparchive.com, since it is abandonware. RCvsT is a fast paced side-scrolling shooter that takes you from the streets of Detroit to the ruined world of Los Angeles in 2029.

Uninvited, The: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"You're uninvited to this review!" (by Dr. Spa, 10 Jul 2004) [9/10]
With just 2 piano samples Lis Vendor has created a most spectacular masterpiece. I love the start bit when it echos! Its really effective! Nearer the end it gets a tad boring because it turns into more of a classical piece than a gamemusic. Still get it though ;).

Everquest: Game rip
"Pleased..." (by Ryana, 10 Jul 2004) [9/10]
...to be here, of course. To even sample this fine piece of music is to be in heaven... well maybe not that far, but pretty good anyway.
Good music, worth-while listning to. 9/10.

Starcraft: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Uh..." (by Ryana, 10 Jul 2004) [1/10]
Just what it means. This.Music.Sucks.
Not worth my time. 1/10.

One Must Fall 2097: Game rip
"Classic and Awesome!" (by WILDFIRE, 9 Jul 2004) [9/10]
This site is incredible! This is one of my favorite game soundtracks, and now I can listen to whenever I want: Awesome!
