Half-Life: Opposing Force: Game rip
"One of..." (by Pyramid Head, 4 Sep 2004) [2/10]
...worst soundtrack I've ever heard. When I downloading these tunes, I was hoping for more great HALF-LIFE music. But, music for addon wasn't composed by Doug Laurent. The differences between HALF-LIFE and OPPOSING FORCE music are huge. In HALF-LIFE you can hear great battle tunes and little scary ambient pieces. The music of OPPOSING FORCE is techno. Weak techno. The tunes are very similiar and boooooooring. So, if you loved HALF-LIFE music, don't download tunes from OPPOSING FORCE. You will be disappointed.

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Game rip
"Worthy thing" (by Darth Nefelim, 4 Sep 2004) [5/10]
The worthy soundtrack to the worthy game. The highly professional composer (Frank) and his worthy successor (Jarrid). Worthy minutes spent for listening. No regrets, no remebrances. Good, but empty.

Command & Conquer: Generals: Game rip
"Hummel gets the rockets" (by Darth Nefelim, 4 Sep 2004) [7/10]
Who is Hummel? Am I mad or terribly wrong? Yeah...
Hummel is one the key figures of "The Rock" movie. Do you remeber the music from this motion picture? Try it and you'll understand me. *THIS* music is written in the same (Bill Brown's style, ya) way. Easy to listen, easy to forget. But pretty nice.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Game rip
"Quality/Attraction" (by Darth Nefelim, 4 Sep 2004) [5/10]
Sincerely, I'm a composer too. And I really understand how hard is to balance between technical quality of the composition and it's artistic attraction. These tunes are really good technically and not so artistically bad. Good work, but... Something has gone from the core of these tunes, from their soul. Godd work, nevertheless. :)

The Music of Command & Conquer
"Act on Instinct" (by Darth Nefelim, 4 Sep 2004) [5/10]
The special release of the original soundtrack to the initiate game of "Command & Conquer" series includes 4 special tracks - one "song" (perfomed by Frank himself) and 3 remixes. And there is nothing to tell you about this music, cause it's to ordinal. I call it "Frank's style" (I mean the composer - Frank Klepacki). Ordinal music, but tough music. ;-)

Painkiller: Original soundtrack
"The music is good, but..." (by Pyramid Head, 2 Sep 2004) [4/10]
All tunes from this soundtrack are combat music (The genre is heavy metal mixed with little techno). There is no one ambient or boss tune! :(. And, authors forgot about one combat tune - Oriental Castle Combat Music and Credits Music (That was heavy metal tune too!). I think, it's better to buy Painkiller and rip all tracks self - contain (It's very easy, all 57 (!) MP3 tracks are in "Music" folder). The final score is not from enjoyable of listening, but form of this soundtrack (Only combat tunes). BTW. You can download four tunes from http://www.painkillergame.com/index2.php (Click DOWNLOADS, then MP3s).

Command and Conquer: Red Alert, The Music of
"Stay alert for the Red!" (by Darth Nefelim, 2 Sep 2004) [7/10]
Well, we all know, that Frank Klepacki is one the most talanted game muisc composer. Need some facts? Let the music talk for words. *THIS* music.
This is one the best Frank's soundtrack. Just taste "Hell March" and you'll understand me. "Twin" is also good. Nice thing.

Silent Hill 4: Original soundtrack
"Scare Hare... Uuurgh! :)" (by Darth Nefelim, 2 Sep 2004) [6/10]
This is a one step forward, the step of progress. You'll argue with me, but SH3 music was too... atmospherical. This soundtrack contains MELODIES and this is really good. The SH2 is still the best of all, but this is good too. Hey, Akira, may be you shuold aim yourself on music nor production? :)

Duke Nukem 3D: Game rip
"FINALY!" (by {Sonic}SONIC clan(TEAM)leader, 2 Sep 2004) [10/10]
FINALY!!!! I have found duke3D music I don't know about other people but I like the music and I want to say THANKS for helping!!

Led Storm: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Follin Bros rule" (by purplemaze, 2 Sep 2004) [8/10]
I love every tune ever done by the Follin Bros, Led Storm being one of my favorites.
On the whole a good remix, but I'm a bit disappointed that the "crazy style" drumming of the original isn't included. Their's sounded like samples of pots, pans and milk bottles but accompanied by a strong and very powerful snare drum.
The file title is "remixed tunes", but alas it's only the one title screen tune. I hope one day you remix the in-game music.
Good job!

Scumball: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Better than the original." (by purplemaze, 2 Sep 2004) [10/10]
Wow!
As I have already said, I love everything the Follin Bros have made, and I think Scumball was their first tune (?).
This has to be the first remix of one of their pieces, that actually surpasses the original!
Probably because of the fantastic drumming!
I also love your tempo change near the end, very professional. A bit strange that it is mixed with the Ocean Loader tune, but fortunately I love that as well.
Well done!

Bionic Commando: Game rip
"Another Follin Bros Classic" (by purplemaze, 2 Sep 2004) [8/10]
What can I say, they really where in a class of their own. I didn't like the arcade music much, but the C64 tune was brilliant.
This is a good remix, and it would have got 10/10, unfortunately at pattern 8 it goes off into some other tune, and not the amazing solo like the original.

Pikmin: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"NOT worth listening to..." (by Ryana, 2 Sep 2004) [1/10]
Just what it says. 1/10.

Super Smash Brothers Melee: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Urh..." (by Ryana, 2 Sep 2004) [1/10]
Short. REALLY SHORT.
NOT worth listning to, it is a complete waste of download time. 1/10. Maybe less.

Pinball Illusions: Game rip
"Ahhh Extreme sports :-)" (by purplemaze, 2 Sep 2004) [10/10]
Out of all of 21st Century's pinball games, Illusions was my favorite.
The game was pretty good, but I only ever played it to listen to the extreme sports music. A classic!

Sword of the Berserk ~ Gut's Rage: Original soundtrack
"Sword of the Berserk ~ Gut's Rage" (by Bharbaruss, 1 Sep 2004) [9/10]
the introduction mp3 of this game is wonderfull !!

Warcraft 3: Game rip
"Power to the Horde!" (by Darth Nefelim, 1 Sep 2004) [6/10]
This music is very dependable. I mean you'll like it in the game, but you'll will be a bit disillusioned while listening it out of the game. It's not bad, really, but it's too chained with the game. A good work, at least.

Quake 2: Game rip
"Quake Me!" (by Darth Nefelim, 1 Sep 2004) [7/10]
Do you remeber the Quad-damage effect? This music do the same thing. Power your soul, enlarge your vision. Nice work!

Shenmue Orchestra Version
"I am the first one! :)" (by Darth Nefelim, 1 Sep 2004) [8/10]
Well, I blindly bought this CD and... I was really impressed by this music. It's so pure, so romantic... And it's so short. Hey, guys, I want more! More of this brilliant orchestral tracks, simple but easy remembering melodies. Feel the music shock through your soul!

Emporer: Battle for Dune: Original soundtrack
"Unstoppable!" (by Darth Nefelim, 31 Aug 2004) [7/10]
Hey, I'm not a fan of acid electronics (by Jarrid Mendelson, one of three original composers), but I really like the work of Frank Klepacki and David Arkenstone. The last man - his music is the awesomely wiping thing! The Power, the Might, the Strength. Impressive... Huh-hah!
