I particularly dig the thumping "Bonham"-esque drums on song 1 and the techno babble in song 4. Airline: Game rip "Catchy theme tune in here..." (by 9, 1 Dec 2004) [6/10] Most of the tunes in this game are only average, but the "Airline" theme (complete with sampled vocals!) is cool indeed. A nice slice of 80's synth pop ala Missing Persons. Air Duel: Game rip "Heavy MODal" (by 9, 1 Dec 2004) [6/10] This tune is for people who turned off the volume on their Amiga and put on the Metallica's "Black Album" instead. Aggression: Game rip "I think I know who did this BTW..." (by 9, 1 Dec 2004) [6/10] I'm almost positive Huelsbeck did this tune. I'm pretty sure I heard an arranged version of this tune on one of his CD's. Pretty cool bass sample in there. Super Mario World: Arranged/Remixed tunes "terrible" (by bloob, 1 Dec 2004) [1/10] someone just took the SPCs and put them thru OPENSPC with IT conversion on... Great Giana Sisters, The: Arranged/Remixed tunes "It does suck." (by Nilfisk, 30 Nov 2004) [2/10] I agree with the former speaker. This sucks big time. Transport Tycoon Deluxe: Game rip "Flawless" (by Nilfisk, 30 Nov 2004) [10/10] Perfect rip. Sounds exactly like the original. Well done =) Heart Of China: Game rip "Great!" (by Nilfisk, 30 Nov 2004) [8/10] Excellent work. I'm still shivering from nostalgia. I'm still missing a few tunes from the game, but those supplied are simply great. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow: Game rip "music is very good" (by musasi, 30 Nov 2004) [9/10] I like this game's music.I think that the music of Castle Corridor is the best, other like Clock Tower, Forbidden Area, Floating Garden are better, too. Ecco ~ Songs of Time "I'm waving..." (by Darth Nefelim, 27 Nov 2004) [5/10] The compliation of two Ecco-series soundtracks is an extremely waving thing. Ambient fans will be happy. And what about my point? I was making a support for my computer while listening this disc. And this music made no disturbance to me - I was listening, enjoying and I've heard nothing. I'm writing this dullness and I just can't remember any track from these eighteen. May be it's simply not my favorite style. But nice music overall. Duke Nukem 3D: Game rip "Great great" (by Delfrod, 25 Nov 2004) [10/10] Now this brings some good memories! And excellent quality too. Final Fantasy 6 - Grand Finale "That's Nobuo's way..." (by Darth Nefelim, 25 Nov 2004) [6/10] Music from Final Fantasy game series rocks the scene. You won't get "just a simple soundtrack". You will get a couple CDs with "original sound version", original soundtrack, piano collections, several exclusive editions and etc. The real fan of the FF must be a truely opulent person. :) Other people have to use p2p networks. The russian people can also use infringing CDs. ;-) We all know, what music Nobuo Uematsu can do. His themes are accepted like a modern classic. First of all you will be introduced with an orchetra version of unfading "Tina Theme". Oh, my... Several tracks of kiddish music then and here we come to the Grand Finale - "operatic" theme. You won't stay indifferent to it - an explosion of joy, really! But I don;t want only a couple of such "explosions"! I want the whole disc! That's the problem... Warcraft 2: Game rip "Just wonderfull" (by yemerich, 22 Nov 2004) [9/10] As told before this is the best score for all blizzard games, including diablo 1 & 2, starcraft, rock 'n' roll racing and the WC's together... It brings me tears Daggerfall: Game rip "Geniune Style" (by Xtense, 19 Nov 2004) [9/10] Ancient-like style is the main theme of this soundtrack, which i think is the best ever (hell, even better than Warcraft 2). If i would ever go to filharmony and hear those tunes played by proffessionals - i would surely crap my pants from bliss. Elvira 2: The Jaws of Cerberus: Game rip "Awesome!" (by Razorback, 17 Nov 2004) [9/10] Sounds brilliant, great horror tracks, very dark moody and ambient. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Nothing special" (by Razorback, 17 Nov 2004) [4/10] Just your usual fare of tinny boppy music which nobody really listens to anyway while playing. Very average. Rome: Total War: Game rip "Progeny" (by Darth Nefelim, 16 Nov 2004) [5/10] I came to one of my fellows and asked him to give me CD with this game to rip it for music. He was surprised: "Didn't you listen music from "Gladiator"?", - he asked. This short story completely describes the music style of this soundtrack. You will hear everything you have to hear in "ancient Rome" styled game - orchestral compositions, barbarian hordes, Rome legions and taste, taste the soul of those days. You'll shut off you music player, relax at your sweety bed... What will you remember of this music? Nothing. That's the key. Only the final song is really great. Everything else is nothing but good. FIFA Soccer 2005: Other "(less then) 1,000,000 monsters attack!" (by Darth Nefelim, 16 Nov 2004) [5/10] Here is the ancient phrase: "The quantity is never quality". This means the BIGGER does not guarantee BETTER. That's the same case - powerful variety of artist, impressive track list, but... Yeah, just the next album from EA Trax. You'll pick up some songs. Other will be merely deleted. No doubt about it. Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Sonic the Hedghog 2" (by Sonic, 11 Nov 2004) [9/10] Chemical Plant, Hill Top, and Mystic Cave Zones are where its at. Warcraft 2: Game rip "Good Music" (by Zhukant, 11 Nov 2004) [9/10] I downloaded the Warcraft II soundtrack, and I enjoyed it to tears. It's not the game that I like, but the actual music. However, most of the songs were cut off, and I am not sure if that was all the songs that there were supposed to be. Hopefully, in the future, the recorders will record the entire composition, but otherwise, it was GREAT!!!
