Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession: Game rip
"Spooky, atmospheric" (by Gila-Man, 1 Jul 2005) [9/10]
It's just the right ambiance for a seance of nonchalance.

Live and Let Die: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"live and "please let me delete it!!!"" (by Dr. Spa, 28 Jun 2005) [3/10]
very bitter music - using very few samples (and those of which are very discord) - it makes the two tunes sound pretty awful. I'd guess you'd like it if you were into the James Bond sorta thing though...

Super Mario World 2: Game rip
"Super Mario World 2: Game rip" (by skitmen, 28 Jun 2005) [10/10]
it's greatmusic and great... music L). thx

Battle Isle 2: Game rip
"Battle Isle 2" (by lorien, 23 Jun 2005) [10/10]
Maybe his best work. Great.

Btw on the Bi2 CD the first audio track is not in the Midi archive. I dont remember if this music was maybe used in the intro? Maybe someone could record that track as midi too?

Guardian Legend, The: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"back in to the spaces and the corridors of the Guardian Legend ?" (by Cronos, 22 Jun 2005) [9/10]
This is a relay good interpretation of original and sounds better then trying to play original nes sound. This midi files will definitely take you back in to the spaces and the corridors of the Guardian Legend. The once that a not so good a some of the techno like remixes.

Unreal Tournament: Game rip
"this soundtrack is great" (by UTZAN, 22 Jun 2005) [10/10]
UT has some of the best music. If u love trance check out UT soundtrack.

Alien Carnage: Game rip
"wait..." (by johnny, 22 Jun 2005) [9/10]
you can mostly ignore my previous post... if you use Mod Plug to play the songs, then they sound much better!!

Alien Carnage: Game rip
"almost....." (by johnny, 22 Jun 2005) [7/10]
I figured that since this music was ripped from the game then it should sound identical to the music in the game, but, even though it has the same sound and all, it sounds like someone has tampered with it. ie. the melodies are a little different and such. Still sounds good though, but not quite the same.

Star Control 2: Game rip
"Modmare" (by Darth Nefelim, 21 Jun 2005) [2/10]
That's Amiga, I understand. Hardware limitations, I understand. Non-professional composers, I understand. Terrible music. And I can't understand this. I know a wide variety of superb amiga modules. I know this style. I know this scene. But why this soundtrack is so repulsive? I don't know. Only mods made by Riku Nuottajarvi are above the average level. A few rich pieces in the reign of poverty. (Nothing bad about the game - it's only about the soundtrack.)

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Excellent music" (by Lege, 21 Jun 2005) [10/10]
The music cotained in this zip is very good. I have the actual game (one of the best early PSone releases, and still an outstanding game), and I have admired the music in it since I first played it.

Most of the songs are in both PS and Sega Saturn versions, but there's at least one that's not in the PS version.

Most of the songs are classical-style, but there's also some hardcore rock in it too >;P They fit really well in the game!

Bottom line: Download it!

Tekken 3: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"I've seen better" (by Lege, 21 Jun 2005) [4/10]
There are 2 files in this submission - one of a theme for Jin Kazama, and an other one that I found so horrible that I couldn't even recognize what was it about (ok, the file name said it was Eddy's theme but whatever).

Jin's theme wasn't that bad, it was pretty good actually, but still I'm deducting half the maximum score since half of the submission's songs were utterly horrid.

Unreal Tournament: Game rip
"Best of the best" (by Lege, 21 Jun 2005) [10/10]
The music in this pack is simply awesome - I can only wonder how the composers managed to do it in .mod/.s3m/.it. A must have!

Unreal Tournament - Maps Music
"The Angle and The Cannon" (by Darth Nefelim, 20 Jun 2005) [6/10]
I don't think it's a good idea to post only one tune as the complete soundtrack. Even if this is a "classic" mod from Skaven (Peter Hajba). But this tune sounds like the whole soundtrack - different parts, different ideas, one style. Good style. Damnly good style! And did ya expect something different from Skaven? I did not.

Turrican 3: Game rip
"one of the best sound tracks" (by Riz, 18 Jun 2005) [10/10]
I think that this is a very over looked soundtrack. Most fokes prefer the Turrican 2 soundtrack but I like thisone more. Yes it is a bit darker but that is one of the things that make this so grait. I had been looking for this soundtrack for about 6 years and now that I have got it I do play it on a regular bases. Please try this soundtrack because I think that its buty has been shadowed by its predisesser.

Unreal Tournament: Game rip
"UNREAL FOREVER!" (by La'Zeez, 15 Jun 2005) [9/10]
I always play this game. In the newer unreals such as UT2004 there isn't so rocking tracks. I have almost all the tracks from Unreal games, but tracks in UT and in first Unreal are the best. Recommend you to listen also "Dusk Horizon", "Interlude II", "Neve's Crossing" in first Unreal.

F-14 Tom Cat: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Er..." (by elephunk, 14 Jun 2005) [4/10]
Very weird. I dunno, but it is very very weird. Very weird. I dunno, but it is very very weird.

Burger Time: Game rip
"An interesting, unique little ditty." (by CMA Death Adder, 9 Jun 2005) [5/10]
It's a surprise to see this song redone in XM format. The game it came from is a poorly done Burgertime clone for the Commodore 64. Interestingly enough its music is somewhat unique, even if it has absolutely nothing to do with a game about making burgers. While it isn't a ground-breaking, hardware-pushing song in either form, it has a nice style that could, if sped up just a bit, fit extremely well for an "old-school" arcade game. You won't find yourself dropping a jaw when listening to the tune, but it will make you nod your head in approval if you're a fan of retro classics. This XM remake is especially nice because it gives the tune a more "arcade action" sound.

Worms: Game rip
"kind of short" (by Lumbajak, 7 Jun 2005) [5/10]
The PC version has one of my favourite tunes, however this one is a little short and not all that good.

Metallic Warfare: Game rip
"Cool song" (by Steve, 7 Jun 2005) [7/10]
There is only one song, in mod format, but its got a good groove and some interesting sound effects, DOWLOAD IT!
