  • "Kapitan Pazur" (by Warcow, 4 Oct 2004) [7/10]
This one is probably most enjoyable if you're into old pcgame music, like me, with some similarities to various old battle games. The most catchy and best tunes in my opinion are the Level 1 and Level 3 themes, with Level 1 being the same melody as the Credits song. Not the best compositions of these authors in my opinion but quite fun to listen to.

  • "Catchy and suitable" (by Pathogen, 31 Jul 2005) [9/10]
Claw's a great game, and these midis are top notch. I actually converted the music from .xmi format myself and was planning to upload it here, looks like someone beat me too it. Oh well. xD

The music fits the game's pirate-ish theme extremely well and ranks among my favourite game midis (with Warcraft II and Doom being close contenders). It's the sort that you find yourself humming involuntarily and they stay insistant without becoming repeditive. The only one I didn't enjoy was the one for level 3, The Footpath. I thought it was a bit too muddled and lacked a clear structure and path. But overall, excellent music.

Facts / description

Thanks for SickBrain for sending this great music! This is the music from the decent Jump & Run Claw by Monolith Productions ( Blood, Shogo, Tron 2.0, Aliens vs Predator 2 ).

Game Rip using WinRezLT and Winamp.

Have a look at GET MEDIEVAL, also by Monolith, if you like these.

I strongly recommend a good sound card or support of some SoundFonts. Cheap Software WaveTables suck. Go Get a SBLive or later...:)

Included is 500k soundfont bank.

Btw., some in-game tunes were not in Midi but in Digital Audio. For example, the intro tune. In the archive are all the Midi tunes, which is more than one and half hour of music! :)

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
