You CAN'T put any form of Star Wars music into midis! Please don't do this! Doesn't sound right at all, and are not worth having!

Maybe George Lucas wouldn't have approved with MIDI format for his movies, but if, like me, you EVER owned a copy of X-Wing, then download these right now! So many Ad-Lib memories....wap wap :D

  • "Tie Fighter" (by pqs, 26 Jan 2009) [6/10]
Hi, i was exited about this page, and hoped id find all the X-wing sounds here since i love the music!

But i was disapointed, the midi versions here is not at all the same as the Mac version i have..
Mac versions always seeme to have superior sound compared to PC...

However i might not play it with the right player.. i use Winamp and DFX...
if anyone know how to play MIDI sound correct, please tell me to

------- To the owner of this site ----------

I got Some Ingame music ive recorded on my own from Mac via cable to PC and restored the Hiss flaws...
These are however edited versions but has no doubt better deph and sound than the MIDI sounds here..
    Both X-wing And Tie-Fighter.

I also got Some Syndicate Sounds from Mac, also superior in the Music sound...

If you are interested tell me how i can upload them..

Other tools

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
