User reviews

  • "Welcome to Animal Planet" (by Warcow, 28 Feb 2004) [7/10]
I like this old game and the soundtrack contains mostly of happy action songs which the author did a pretty good job with.

  • "Whacky Wheels, nice old game" (by Avalon, 28 Feb 2004) [6/10]
Nice music, good qaulity to be a .mid file... good job by the composer.

  • "Nice Music, quite enjoyable :)" (by Big Mo, 28 Dec 2009) [8/10]
Wacky Wheels was a great game to play, and it had some nice tunes which could even be enjoyed today with a good samplebank. They're all quite the same style and tempo, but since the tunes are happy and uplifting, it still makes an awesome soundtrack for a game.

  • "The OPL soundtrack sounds more balanced" (by crumby2, 13 Apr 2018) [8/10]
The midi version sounds powerfull but the instruments seems sometime unbalanced (at least on a Sound Canvas) and a bit dull at time.
The FM version (Adlib/soundblaster) seems more balanced and is regarded as a quality FM soundtrack.
The composer said he used AdLib Composer for the soundtrack.

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
