    thanx guys!

  • "Excellent Rip" (by Neko, 11 Jul 2005) [10/10]
This is an excellent rip of the Raptor soundtrack - I played this game when I was like 7 or 8 and ten years later I'm still loving the Level 6 theme. Only now I can appreciate it musically. The others are just good all-out rockin' tracks. I wish I could get ahold of the original MUS files though ;D

Effing fantastic shizz!!! This site rocks! Hearing these tunes again after about over 10 years back when I was a kid and played a lot of Raptor... Had me almost in tears recalling the good old times :)

  • "Pure Awesome" (by Rsteffy, 21 Dec 2008) [8/10]
There is alot of potential in these songs, Im sick of music on radio, all the same, but these songs are fantastic. Good times

  • "Thanks Much!" (by boost2029, 25 Feb 2011) [10/10]
Hey it's great to hear again "hangar theme". I loved it so much that it was burned in my brain. Now I have de file!

    Keep up the good work!

  • "Rock of the Shadows!" (by honkstar82, 14 Sep 2012) [10/10]
Fantastic blast from the past. Apogee always rocked great music in their games. Raptor's 'Hanger' soundtrack has always been a great theme to have in your head while waiting at an airport for a flight, and the level music does not dissapoint. Highly reccomend that you check this out if chiptune rock is at all an interest, the in-mission music does not disappoint.

There are a few little problems with the archive. The song labeled 'Level04' is actually the "Game Over" music. 'Short4' is actually the game's "Credits" tune. Again, a great pack of songs from a great game!

Facts / description

Thanks to Furutsun who provided this additional info about the 'Night Mission.mid' tune":

The tune is from chapters 2 and 3 of the game, but is not played in chapter 1, therefore anyone with the shareware version of the game would not know the track.
The track itself is only played during the dark night missions, of which there is one in chapter 2 and one in chapter 3. it replaces one level song from the songs that are played in chapter 1 and repeated in chapters 2 and 3, I'm not sure which level the song is from though, level 5 or 6 maybe of chapeters 2 or 3, although I would suggest the track name to be named to "Night Mission" or something like that, even better if someone knew what level its from in chapters 2 and 3.

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
