"Wonderful compositions" (by Der Amiganer, 17 Jun 2007) [10/10] This is probably one of my favourite shoot'em up soundtracks. Great compositions with wonderful melodies... Konami quality. Recommended. James Pond 2: Codename: Robocod: Game rip "Nice versions of the original tracked tunes" (by Der Amiganer, 21 Nov 2006) [8/10] These pieces ripped from the CD32-version are really nice versions of the original tracked tunes. But 2 pieces are missing: the one first introduced in the second door, and the one from the jelly world. They also added some tunes from the first James Pond game. But it's still a nice version. Mario Kart 64: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Great Sounding!" (by Der Amiganer, 14 May 2005) [10/10] A very good arrangement of the original Mario Kart soundtrack! It almost sounds like the original! Sadly the composers only did some of the tunes of the original soundtrack. But alas... Karate Kid Part 2: The Computer Game, The: Game rip "Bad sounding" (by Der Amiganer, 22 Mar 2005) [5/10] This is really the worst case of game tunes! The music is from Peter Cetera's "Glory of Love".But the composer (which name we don't know) didn't seem to have any interest to make a good-sounding amiga-version for the game, instead of this he just converted the C64-version!Overall this sounds really bad, but the composition itself is of course very good. Street Fighter 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes "Sounds better than Dave Lowe's!" (by Der Amiganer, 14 Jan 2005) [10/10] The File "Street Fighter 2 (Unused).mod" was tracked by Matthew Simmonds and his music was actually planned for the original Amiga-Game. It really sounds good and "original".But they chose Dave Lowe's "improvised" tracks, that aren't actually bad, but somehow Matthew Simmonds' are better. |
