Wipeout was famous with tunes of these types and first part of this game has maybe more ideas than the next parts.. Recommended in fast cars :)) ![]() ![]() Futuristic cyber-soundtrack with many ideas and great rhythm! Do not use inside slow cars and in the city ;) ![]() ![]() Average hard rock guitar tunes. ![]() ![]() One of first Bjorn Lynne's game soundtrack CDs, and yet so great! Rocking dynamic, but melodic and very different tunes made this soundtrack best of all Worms soundtracks, in my opinion. ![]() ![]() On the one side very cool intro track and singing "Coconuts" theme, on the other side a bit boring in-game themes, which should serve more to athmosphere than to some gorgeous listening. Simple said, exactly as previous Worms games (except Worms 2, which had also great in-game soundtrack). ![]() ![]() Typical example that also mostly ambient music can be great if is well done and has many different ideas. You can listen mostly to ambient tunes in game, but also to musical intro and menu tunes (of course you can see repeating Worms theme everywhere a bit), which are this time a made a bit in the techno style. I think this one ranks second place between Worms soundtracks, just after Worms 2. ![]() ![]() A bit more instrumental music this time for Worms games and not very expressive. But listenable. ![]() ![]() Right crazy wormy tunes and some of the tracks I remember I heard from Worms Reinforcements or Worms 2. Near crazyness they keep high quality by Bjorn Lynne :) ![]() ![]() Small soundtrack with hard battle tunes (a bit like original Bjorn Lynne's Worms tracks). ![]() ![]() This game has well-known leading Worms melody and additional tunes, which are, in most cases, ambient. The few non-ambient ones are great, but the ambient ones only describe environment and they're not very self-listenable. ![]() ![]() Mostly ambient boring tunes. But the 6 minute long "music selection" left is collection of quite nice futuristic themes. ![]() ![]() Most of the tracks are really "about nothing". Only Tracks 15 and 22 I really liked, but the rest seem to me only as space filler without any deeper idea. ![]() ![]() Great re-arranged Xenogears themes into very nice celtic style, with singing vocals. Though they are "only" remakes, they are very well done and very listenable! ![]() ![]() I had very big expectations about soundtrack to sequel of musically one of the best made game - Xenogears. Maybe therefore I was a bit disappointed. Yes, there are many good tracks, but it simply seems to have too much "space fillers" on these 2 CDs - tracks without some ideas and melodies. ![]() ![]() Techno arrangements of techno tracks in Xevious 3D-G+ :) Not bad, but I'd prefer the original soundtrack. ![]() ![]() Fast nice soft-techno tunes. They're good for doing something without disturbing with hard beats :) Two CDs of music which is listenable lot of times. ![]() ![]() Very repetitive tracks; motives are not bad but lag of ideas and big repetitiveness makes this soundtrack only "above average". ![]() ![]() First part of the CD is absolutely brilliant - very melancholic melodies are arranged with true instruments and the result is great. But, later two thirds of the CD are slightly loosing the arrangement ideas (though Yasunori Mitsuda's original concept is still great). Anyway, the CD is the top and one of the best in the arrangement genre. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ys is the not very known game in our countries. It's some sort of Japanese RPG, but it's not very important anyway. Important is, that it has awesome songs - you should look for example at this soundtrack to make agree... :) And if you'll like it, you can find more soundtracks from Ys in the game list! :)
