Especially tracks 18 and 19 are really very well done! Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed: Game rip (Win) [9/10] [01 Mar 2000] Rocking great music with lot of engine power, you sure won't feel boring here - it's in my opinion best soundtrack from all the Need for Speed games. Nerf Arena Blast: Game rip (Win) [6/10] [07 Nov 1999] Strong guitar tunes. Not many ideas, and on the border of listenability sometimes. But some tracks are cool! Neverhood Songs (Win) [8/10] [1996] What a great crazy soundtrack it is! Forget all game soundtracks you've listened before, this is really something else. Radio songs are a bit too crazy, but generally, played on real instruments, with real singing and with very differend melodies, ideas and themes, seems this soundtrack to be one of the best! :) Next Tetris, The: Game rip [7/10] [16 Jun 1999] Averagely made techno tracks, and nice russian folk melodies save them before falling down... Night Raid: Original soundtrack [6/10] [2001] Hard rockin' and metal tunes.. Often boring, and hurting ears. Fortunately, there are few melodies which save the soundtrack from being deleted ;) Nightmare Creatures 2: Game rip [6/10] [24 May 2000] Well, I don't belong to the fans of Nightmare Creatures music, and also the second part doesn't seem to have any gorgeous music. Though it's worth of keeping, I think Fred Motte has released many better stuff. Here are only two tracks, I think from ElMobo's MP3 page. Nox: Game rip (Win) [7/10] [16 Feb 2000] Tunes are a too ambient and boring for pure listening, though you can find few "more fresh" tracks fortunately (the "Town" and "Wander" tunes are saving the situation :) ). But generally, you can see classic 2000s feel in the tunes, where the authors threw away the ideas and nice melodies and got onto athmospheric addition to the environment. Unfortunately. Oldtimer: Game rip [9/10] [1994] Very good music, with great old times athmosphere. Omikron: The Nomad Soul: Game rip [6/10] [1999] Music with original ideas and with big differences between tracks, but most of the came a bit boring - they simply haven't "reach my heart". Operation Flashpoint: Original soundtrack (Win) [8/10] [2001] This has all that good wargame soundtrack needs to have. Great action, sometimes cool action melody, sometimes nice adhmospheric tunes. Bad thing is the last 4 tracks, which don't have very big connection with game (they're some metal tunes), hopefully this will not often happen in soundtracks. Or Die Trying: Game rip [5/10] [31 Aug 1998] Not many ideas in these three tracks, too boring and repetitive. Fortunately the third track is quite ok. Output 64 - Delete All Data - Input64 Remixed 3/X (C64) [8/10] [2001] LADO 17085-2 Very originally taken C64 remix CD. Maybe sometimes technically not highest level, but I really like it because of its slight weirdness and originality ;) For example, where else you would see digitized voice *signing* like in the "Push my button" track? Outwars: Game rip (Win) [6/10] [1998] Hard action movie-like and loong soundtrack. It is long but there is a bit lag of fresh ideas, which causes that you can find only strong boring noise on many tracks... Pandemonium: Game rip [9/10] [05 Nov 1996] Great tunes, great melodies, different ideas and tunes. There is only small lag of quality, because the audio tracks have been recorded from some tracked format (I think). But it doesn't lower the experience from the music anyhow. Panzer Dragoon: Game rip [8/10] [10 Mar 1995] Cool slow ambient melodic tracks where you can imagine the easy flight with the dragon above the land. Well, it's not so easy, but... :) Paranoia 2: Bonus Disk (Win) [7/10] [Dec 1996] Nice action tunes, little bit like Dune and Command & Conquer, but with more techno feel. Sometimes maybe too repetitive, but generally quite good. Btw., some tracks have really interesting spoken words there. e.g. Track 07 (translation from Czech language: "I'm horny if I speak with you. Call 0609-12602") - all in Dune-like background. Hm, what has author meant under this? ;) Parsec: Game rip [9/10] [1999] Great space tunes. Sometimes true techno melodies, sometimes something meditative to create athmosphere. Whole soundtrack has great rhythm and many ideas, it remembers me a bit Mike Oldfield's Songs of Distant Earth, but in more techno feel. Superb! Perfect Selection Dracula Battle II [9/10] [21 Jun 1995] KICA-1162 One of the best Castlevania arranged soundtracks I have heard. It's all from famous Castlevania tunes (mostly of SNES castlevania times), but remade to beautyfully rock versions. And you know I don't like hard guitars very much, that only raises value of this music! :) Perfect Selection Dracula ~New Classic~ [8/10] [22 Apr 1992] KICA-1103 The classic Castlevania tunes released very different way - with symphonic orchestra. Really nice one, though I'm missing last track, unfortunately.
