thrill kill: Game rip
"Thrill Kill Bill" (by Warcow, 24 Apr 2004) [8/10]
Cool techno songs, some more actionbased than others, that remind me a little of Quake music. One song starts off with the famous "Yarghh" sound from the Starwars movies, pretty cool.

Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries: Game rip
"31st century combat" (by Warcow, 24 Apr 2004) [8/10]
This soundtrack is not to bad, including some futuristic, action songs. It also have a nice balance with percussion and melodies.

Gabriel Knight Mysteries Collection: Game rip
"Schattenjager" (by Warcow, 23 Apr 2004) [9/10]
Slow, harmonic songs with piano is mostly mostly what Gabriel Knight music is all about. Here they squeeze in some other instruments in some songs but it stays with its trademark. The music itself is beautiful, romantic melodies and it's good.

Sierra Soundtrack Collection
"Sierra Legacy" (by Warcow, 23 Apr 2004) [6/10]
Many songs here from old Sierra games. There's happy, funky songs but also tunes with lots of acustic guitars and fluits and some of them have interesting melodies, like Mark Sieberts "The Magic Meadow", but as a whole, it doesn't really get me. I think they've left out many good, classics songs from this package. Also a little strange that they didn't include music from Gabriel Knight or the Aces games.

Gunsmoke: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"The man with no name" (by Warcow, 23 Apr 2004) [8/10]
The Smoking Guns of Liberation song first sounds like a rip of the original music but then turns into a rock song with guitar and drums. The other remix, Spaghetti Cowboy, has a funny soundeffect going through the entire song and with its rythm and and trumpets, it's hard not to enjoy it.

Outlaws (LucasArts): Original soundtrack
"Spaghetti Western" (by Warcow, 23 Apr 2004) [9/10]
Here's some goodies if you like Spaghetti Western kind of music. The first track kick it off in a great way and it continues with more heroic cowboy songs, some to build up the gunfightmood and there's even a sad little ballad in it, really cool.

Lotus Turbo Challenge 2: Game rip
"Holiday music" (by Warcow, 23 Apr 2004) [9/10]
This music makes me think of summer, holiday and a lot of sun. It's very easychewed music and it sure fits with this kind of game too, just plug in, sit back and enjoy the ride. Only bad thing about some rips for the Genesis though is that the soundquality sometimes doesn't excately match the original music.

Tango Master: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Genre: Music??? Nahhhh" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [1/10]
This is defently NOT music! It is Puke! It's just a really really really really really bad quality chiptune. RUGAR has no sence what tango is and tango isn't. Take "TANGO.MOD" from the modarchive (MY TANGO) That is tango, isn't it??? Plus RUGAR needs more practice with XMs, He's more intrested in ITs.

Mr. Nutz: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Silly Jazz" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [8/10]
Just 4 Kidz!!! Nice Circus-y music to listen too

Zelda 4: Link's Awakening: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Great Themez" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [7/10]
The themesong is excellent, that is why I went out of my way to find zelda 4 MODs; This is what I have found:

zelda 4 - maintheme: This is GREAT. Apart from the fact of being only 17 secs it is just a >!<

zelda goes chip: Another great remix by Mr. Real but not as REAL as zelda 1

Zelda 3: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Zelda 3" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [9/10]
Well, Because I've uploaded a song to the archive, I think I should review it:

Zelda 3 (castle theme) is a supurb XM it is defenly a 9/10. It sort of starts out ambient just like monkey island 2 theme and then it becomes rather dancey/synthy with strange ambient sounds. A supurb mod to listen to in ya spare time.

Zelda 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"More Zelda" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [3/10]
From zelda 2: Kinda scary sound clip

Zelda 2 (town theme 1) : Not nice...

Zelda 2 (town theme 2) : Well. It's better than the first one

Sorry about the lack of soundtracks from me.

Zelda: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Mostly chiptunes" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [6/10]
zelda savescreen: Total rubbish

zelda 1 - dance rmx: ZALZA HAS DONE IT AGAIN! SHE/HE HAS PUT TOGETHER TO MAKE AN EXCELLENT CHIP/DANCE MODULE. THEE BEST.

zelda intro : Professional C64 melody by Qum. :))

zelda-intro: Remix of last one but not as "C64-y"

zelda theme song -Diversion: You can't tell that it is a remix of the zelda intro but after a long listen you can probely make it out. This is repetive medevil music, It starts off with an annoying Tipani

legend of zelda: Don't wanna talk about it, too ear peiiircing

Zelda: Zelda 2 isn't it??? it sounds like it... On http://amp.dascene.net it says that it is zelda 1

FACE IT (zelda dead): Sad chip... Rather nice...

Zelda goes chip: Mr. Real is REAL with this one ; )

Descent: Game rip
"!! SpAcE mUsIk !!" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [8/10]
Cool Space/ambient music. At the end You will hear an electric guitar, followed by a great ending!

Dragon Ball Z: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Memories..." (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [7/10]
It really reminds me of the original TV show. The quality is good. The samples are OK. The only problem is is that it is only about 30 seconds... I haven't played the game yet but it sounds good :- )

XTreme Racing: Game rip
"Worst" (by Dr. Spa, 23 Apr 2004) [2/10]
much much too repetetive. The ones which slightly stand out are: Theme, Techno, Rock, Harlem. Although Techno has the worst samples I have EVER seen, I give it a 4/10

Mine Bombers: Game rip
"Great!" (by afe, 22 Apr 2004) [8/10]
Sounds exactly same as in the game. Too bad that there's only one song.

Mega Man 2: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (by Dr. Spa, 22 Apr 2004) [10/10]

Flashman - CASEY MCCANN YOU ARE THE BEST ARTIST FOR MAKING FLASHMAN EVER! THE WAY YOU HAVE MADE THE SAXAPHONE BIT AT THE END IS SIMPLY THE BEST!

Megaman 6: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"NESMusa" (by Dr. Spa, 22 Apr 2004) [6/10]
Flameman - A true NES classic, also very speedy :)

Knightman - Sort of a "Flameman 2" sort of thing

Valhalla 2: Game rip
"Very Short Songs" (by Dr. Spa, 22 Apr 2004) [5/10]
Title: very ambient, quiet, there's nothing special about this module

ingame: must say nice melody, but the samples are AWFUL
