Ice Climber: Game rip
"Iceman" (by Warcow, 5 Jun 2004) [7/10]
This geniously made music is hard to get out of the head after hearing it over and over in the game. Not much variety in the songs but there's no need to.

Altered Beast: Game rip
"Rise from your grave" (by Warcow, 5 Jun 2004) [6/10]
Here's eight songs from the Nes version of the game which later on became a huge success on Sega. It's the same songs but it can be fun to hear them with the Nintendo soundchip, I recommend the Sega version though.

Disney's Duck Tales: Game rip
"Duck Tails" (by Warcow, 5 Jun 2004) [9/10]
When I was young I loved Donald Duck, Duck Tales, etc. and I played this game a lot. The music kick ass, especially the moon and transylvania themes.

Batman: Game rip
"Buttman: no. Fatman: no. Batman: Yeah" (by Warcow, 5 Jun 2004) [8/10]
11 songs from the first Batman game on Nintendo which are cool and filled with action.

Excitebike: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Very Very Very Very Short but Good" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [8/10]
ExciteBike is played by me on the arcade all of the time and guess what, one of the main reasons I play it is to hear da music!

Lesuire Suit Larry: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Ha Ha!" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [9/10]
Very silly music, the quality one I think is either the nice clean sampled one by Whiskeymusic or the chip larry the piggy music by beathawk!

Ghostbusters: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"*GhOsT*bUsTeRS*" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [10/10]
Yeah! Now that is the melody all summed up in 3 small chipz. It really brings back memories and melodies of the past!!!

Castlevania 3: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"A Clone" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [4/10]
The one I uploaded (K'Yorl) is a clone to double dragon 1 first of all it uses the same samples and second wire makes practally the same music as K'Yorl does. So if you don't wanna download the whole 550k thing just download the DD1 archive...

Burning Rubber: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"Reggae beat!" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [8/10]
This has more of a reggae beat than the original ones. Anyway this one is based on the macintosh version of burning rubber not the Amstrad CpC one.

Black Lamp: Arranged/Remixed tunes
"A 20 Sec Tune" (by Dr. Spa, 4 Jun 2004) [7/10]
The one by Anak/Czm is great it sounds sad but it creates an atmosphere!!!

Arkanoid: Game rip
"Arkanoid truly the greatest" (by phonixmunky, 4 Jun 2004) [9/10]
What can you say, as a spotty teenager waiting for a game to load, sat in my room contemplating the days events. I never realised how much I'd been effected by loading music. Especially Arkanoid, if the Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Orbital and the chemical brothers hadn't heard who knows where we'd be. It just rocks, if only we'd had breakbeat in those days. It makes me all gooey eyed. Also the load music for Hypersports does it for me. This however is the holy grail of computer tunes. Long may it serve

Pinball Dreams: Game rip
"W007! F34R 7h1S 7U|\|3S . ;-)" (by sds, 4 Jun 2004) [9/10]
Woot! Fear this tunes. ;-)

Pinball Illusions: Game rip
"It's good, but..." (by sds, 4 Jun 2004) [5/10]
The other pinball series (Fantasies, Dream1-2), have a better soundtrack.

Crusader: No Regret: Game rip
"Got game? play the original version." (by sds, 4 Jun 2004) [9/10]
Great collection, but the original version is better than .mod .

If You want to hear the .amf files that come with the game, use VLC ( http://www.videolan.org ). At least is the only media player able to play this kind of files on mac.

Lemmings 3D: Game rip
"Finally it's done..." (by Controller, 4 Jun 2004) [8/10]
I've spent hours looking for the MIDI version from 3D Lemmings. I have the game and so the audio tracks (which are quite a little better then the midis), but I enjoyed the ingame midi music as an alternate version.

Parsec: Game rip
"Superb" (by Controller, 4 Jun 2004) [9/10]
Great soundtrack. Well, don't just mean the demo music found in the game or can be downloaded from www.parsec.org
The LAN-test version has just 2 levels, and only the demo music is used, BUT it includes 9 more soundtracks, that can be easily extracted with a tool called parsecex.

Mega Man: Game rip
"Mega Maniac" (by Warcow, 30 May 2004) [10/10]
Here's another important cornerstone in the musicworld of good 'ol Nintendo that brings back some memories. The intro is just one of those songs that belongs in the Hall of fame.

Perfect Dark: Original soundtrack
"Give me hope, Joanna" (by Warcow, 30 May 2004) [9/10]
The rythm of many of the songs here are built up by a very similar drumbeat but it works most of the time, the songs themselves are neat.

Castlevania 2: Game rip
"Priest Battle!" (by Warcow, 30 May 2004) [9/10]
The second games music has evolved from the first one, not excately as strong in my opinion but it still has some pretty wicked tunes.

Lifeforce (Salamander): Game rip
"Use the Lifeforce Luke" (by Warcow, 30 May 2004) [8/10]
Don't get confused here, it's not 45 songs, it's the songs plus the soundeffects. It's sci-fi music with a mix of happy and sad parts and the most important factor in music, it takes you places.
