Really nice and powerfull orchestral and ambiental music. My favourite tunes are ingame tunes made by Jeroen Tel. Pero-Fotar (CyberpunX) ![]() ![]() "Pero-Fotar" (by Pero-Fotar, 7 Sep 2004) [8/10] This music is really beautiful. It's so warm, emotional and romantic. I remember when I finished to play this game I recorded all tunes in audio CD, so I can enjoyed in this music everywhere. The music from Hentai games is really good. The composers of True Love tunes are Ichiro Moegi and Yoichi Iwasaki. Trust me I check the credits on the end of the game. Pero-Fotar (CyberpunX) ![]() ![]() "Wheeeee!.." (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [7/10] Nice kiddish music, good for relaxing after playing Doom 3! :) Yes, it's really nice, but there are not so much themes, but a plenty of their various arrangements. ![]() ![]() "I can see ya, Snake!" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [7/10] A reel Hollywood. Quite nice and atmospheric music, "made in Hollywood". No difference with the motion pictures soundtracks. And that is good. Highly professional work. But... I won't settle down. Did you know, that "Metal Gear Solid Main Theme" *WAS BOLDLY STOLEN* from soviet calssical composer G. Sviridov. Try to listen his composition "Troyka" (written in 1951) and you'll be very surprised. Konami, you ought to be ashamed!!! ![]() ![]() "THIEFS!!!" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [6/10] Oh, yeah... I just forgot one more thing. Did you known that "Metal Gear Solid Main Theme" *WAS STOLEN* from soviet classic composer G. Sviridov? Just try his composition "Troyka" (written in 1951) and you'll be *VERY* surprised by Konami's impudence! Shame on you, guys! You could just say a few words of respect... ![]() ![]() "Watch out for Snake!" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [6/10] A great soundtrack for espionage game, but some tracks a really boring. Charming vocal during the end song and overall tension - here are its advantages. ![]() ![]() "Very long soundtrack" (by Pyramid Head, 6 Sep 2004) [8/10] The composers have created good atmosphere in this one. When you're searching for enemies, you hear ambient music, perfectly fit with level. Some tunes are just for underscore atmosphere (Especially MILITARY BASE MUSIC - There's a lot of drums), but some are really creepy (ASYLUM AMBIENT MUSIC, FACTORY AMBIENT MUSIC - One of most psychedelic tunes I've ever heard!). Combat music are heavy metal mixed with techno - Some ideas are really good (My favorites are FOREST FIGHT and ORIENTAL CASTLE FIGHT)! If you have PAINKILLER, you can listen those tunes from MUSIC folder. ![]() ![]() "wow brian" (by dark_elf, 6 Sep 2004) [10/10] man i don't even begin to fathom how you were able to keep such a huge archive of all the crap i made. i swear some of these songs you have from me i didnt even know i gave out to anyone. anyway, good work putting this stuff together. brings back memories :) ![]() ![]() "Very dark music" (by Pyramid Head, 6 Sep 2004) [9/10] HITMAN CONTRACTS is a very gloomy game. The soundtrack is dark too. Jesper Kyd mixed dirty industrial with techno, sometimes you can hear orchestral instruments and Latin choirs. I think, the most gloomy tune is SLAUGHTERHOUSE. WHITE ROOM & MAIN THEME reminds me MARCH OF THE EMPIRE from FREEDOM FIGHTERS SOUNDTRACK - The electronic beats are similliar. Native instruments was only used in tunes from Hong Kong - HONG KONG UNDERGROUND and STREETS OF HONG KONG. The most agressive tune is SWAT TEAM. There is ambient music in this soundtrack too - WINTER NIGHT, SANITARIUM and BUDAPEST BATH HOTEL. OK, let's finish this review. If you like previous Jesper Kyd compositions, you must have this soundtrack! ![]() ![]() "Bad Changes" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [6/10] New times, new (un)reality. It's very sad to say, but the new guys have done just *the other* music. Deeply aggressic, totally driving. I'm missing the old times... ![]() ![]() "Damned" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [5/10] This music lefts a strange feelings in me. Is *THIS* really a music? You'll sink deeply in it's atmosphere during the gameplay. Your ears will be damned during the off-game listening. Strange... The Masterpiece or The Blowjob? I can't decide... ![]() ![]() "To win the match..." (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [7/10] Another game, another music. It've lost something of it's beauty - more speed, more aggression. But really nice. ![]() ![]() "More UnReality" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [7/10] A few addtional tracks. And so much joy'n'relax! Not the best mission pack, not the best soundtrack. But it's a worthy work. ![]() ![]() "UnReality" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [9/10] A Great success of two talented trackers. And one of the really Great game soundtracks ever composed. These guys're seriously in love with their work. Must have! ![]() ![]() "Jazzy!" (by Darth Nefelim, 6 Sep 2004) [7/10] Alex Brandon is a very talented composer. Need facts? Just spend your time listening this soundtrack. You'll understand... ![]() ![]() "Useful midi for musicians" (by d3u5_3x_m4ch1n4, 6 Sep 2004) [8/10] I play piano, and I found these midis useful for extracting sheet music for the piano. Very good to have. ![]() ![]() "Best from the classic trilogy" (by Darth Nefelim, 5 Sep 2004) [8/10] Do you like remixes? I really do, it they're so professional and so amazing. like these twelve. It's a bit sadly not to find the orchestral remix of the RE3 credits track, but no more words. Must have! ![]() ![]() "Impressions" (by Darth Nefelim, 5 Sep 2004) [8/10] And *this* soundtrack is more then a soundtrack - it's a nice mix of doomly terror and romantic relations. Quite a bit sadly, but it's wonderful! ![]() ![]() "Survive the Horror :)" (by Darth Nefelim, 5 Sep 2004) [3/10] It's a really terrible soundtrack, but it's a real horror. I'm not impressed by *this* without playing a game, but it's quite nice for the game. Save your ears, you'll need them for the next soundtrack. ![]() ![]() "Like Woman Do" (by Darth Nefelim, 5 Sep 2004) [7/10] Did you imagine that the composer of the callsic vampire game could be a woman? I was really shocked... But the music is quite good, really good, but atmospheric a bit. Try "Crystal Drop" and "I am the Wind". They're the best.
