Pretty Good Music(Review for Azrael's Tear: Game rip by jbltecnicspro)Overall, the music in Azrael's Tear is very solid and evokes some melancholy, and enchanting emotions. It makes for some good background music. Like most games made for DOS that uses General MIDI, this soundtrack sounds best when using a Roland Sound Canvas device. I use an SC-55, and it sounds nice and balanced. Although the music is good, I do have a complaint about the overuse of vibrato in the wind instruments - it makes the pitch sound distorted at times, but this problem is very minor and does not detract from the score's quality. 8/10 |
