My info

It doesn't happen often that you can see so many "big names" under one soundtrack. All people are famous from amiga demos- and games- scene and they created on this CD absolutely new soundtrack with attempt to make some epic story. It has all prediction to be the best of the best, and it is without doubt very good soundtrack, but it doesn't reach the highest ones - I don't know why, but it comes a bit boring through the listening, maybe it's because lag of ideas. But it's still nice 8 points. :) [8/10]

  • "^_^ ^_^ ^_^" (by Anorak99, 24 May 2006) [10/10]
Merregnon, the fantasy world invented by the likes of Yuzo Koshiro, A. Brimble, Chris Huelsbeck and Co. is pretty awesome I have to say. Upon first listen there doesn't seem to be a composer that outshines the rest but, on a second hearing, it turns out the Fabian Reza Paine's works are certainly the most compelling.

Great score, and a lot of fun too. *Strokes his album*

What exactly is Merregnon?
Merregnon is a world - wide project in which renowned composers from the
computer games and the demo - music scene were invited to accompany characters
from an original fantasy story. They were asked to describe the adventures and
the surroundings of the characters through music in orchestral style. The result
of their work has been put together on an exclusive CD.

Merregnon - the composers.
Allister Brimble, Fabian Del Priore, Markus Holler, Jason "Jase" Chong, Jonne
"Purple Motion" Valtonen, Olof "Blaizer" Gustafsson, Gustaf "Lizardking"
Grefberg, Jogeir Liljedahl and Rudolf Stember could be engaged for this
soundtrack. Chris Hülsbeck provided an exclusive bonus track of his musical
setting for the movie "Light at the end of the tunnel".

Merregnon - the development.
At the end of 1999 Thomas Böcker and Fabian Del Priore had the idea to create
that kind of project. From begin on it was said that all who were involved would
have a direct influence. A plot had to be written, as multifarious as possible,
to include the various aspects - like the music tracks.
