My info

As good tradition in games from Bethesda Softworks is, we have again great soundtrack to listen. But this time we don't have "ordinary medieval fantasy tunes", these are very original tunes with various ideas. Some tunes remind celtic tunes in "Lords of the dance style", some others remind cool athmospheric futuristic but *not* boring feeling. Great, soundtrack as it has to be! [9/10]

Facts / description

Thanks to Nullstring for this info:

The tracklist of the game is this: (artist: Afro Celt Sound System)
01 - Celtic I (Urban Aire)
02 - Celtic II (Release)
03 - Celtic III
04 - Celtic IV
05 - Greek I
06 - Greek II
07 - Greek III (Eistigh Liomsa Sealad/Listen to Me)
08 - Greek IV
Medieval I (Eistigh Liomsa Sealad/Listen to Me)
09 - Medieval II (Sure As Not)
10 - Medieval III
11 - Medieval IV

There are no official titles for the songs; the "Celtic," "Greek" and "Medieval" titles simply correspond to the three environments players encounter during the game. While a few of the songs are simply brief, atmospheric pieces, there are several gems that ACSS fans will not want to miss, including a beautiful duet between Celtic harp and Uilleann pipes ("Greek II"), an ambient, Peter Gabriel-esque melody ("Celtic IV"), and alternate, previously unreleased instrumental versions of tracks from Volumes 1 and 2. The game's instruction manual also includes an essay by Simon explaining how the music was composed.

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
