The soundtrack has 45 minutes of music, including previously unreleased tracks from Megadeth and C.O.C.; the "Duke Nukem Theme, "a new song recorded specifically for this album by Megadeth, as well as rare tracks from Coal Chamber and Type O Negative. Other artists who contributed music include Slayer, Stabbing Westward, The Beatnuts, Xzibit, Zebrahead, Sevendust and Wu-Tang Clan.
For the gamer, "Duke Nukem: Music To Score By" is a gourmet feast. With more than 175 megabytes of exclusive content, it is the blueprint of video game soundtracks to come. A must-have for Duke Nukem fans, the interactive content has been created to challenge and thrill gaming fans, including the first and only interactive strategy guide to be included on a gaming soundtrack , and a host of cool features such as screen savers, shareware, web links and audio samples culled from the PlayStation version of "Duke Nukem: Time To Kill," the forthcoming "Duke Nukem: Zero Hour" for N64 and the highly anticipated PC game "DukeNukem Forever," set for a release next year.
The "Duke Nukem: Music To Score By" soundtrack also contains an exclusive Duke Nukem poster and a special hidden contest for gamers.
