3 songs (CIDEA, FINK! and HARPOON) were in early versions of the game but they were removed in later versions for unknown reasons.
!WINGS! is a version of BATLEFLD with different internal song comment messages.
1 song (JANUSKI) was removed from the latest version of the game because the song itself bore resemblance to one song from a band where its composer was a part of.
Source came from here (in Finnish). https://web.archive.org/web/20070629180159/https://koti.mbnet.fi/mvirpioj/wings/letter.html

***English translation of the message from the source below***
Due to the extensive feedback we received, we have had to ask the creator of the Wings game to remove the Januski song from the game. The person who claimed to be
the creator of the song in the game has actually just changed the names of the samples to advertise themselves. The tracker version in question is our original
composition and we partially know how it got to the person mentioned above. I myself have had nothing against the song being used in the game, but in fact I liked
the idea. Perhaps someone has even liked the product in question. I have also not been interested in copyright compensation, and I did not see it necessary to
mention the matter to the record company, who would certainly have been more eager to intervene. However, we have now reached a situation where we have finally
tired of answering, at times quite offensive, questions about the song. This is a shame, because we would certainly not have had anything against the song being
used in the obviously popular Wings game. If you happen to like the song, however, its recorded version can be found on the Silentium band's album Infinita
Plango Vulnera, its real name is Forever Sleep. I wish everyone pleasant moments with the Wings game and I welcome everyone to our band's website www.silentivm.com
to get acquainted with our other material. I would like to express my thanks to the game's creator for his cooperation. He has no part in the abuse that occurred.

The game must have been quite popular, because we have received numerous contacts regarding the matter over the past seven years :)

Best regards,
Juha Lehtioksa/Silentium.
