  • "One of the best music scores for a game hands down" (by Drei, 7 Mar 2004) [10/10]
I have been looking for this song forever... This is easily one of the best score's for a game ever... along with the score for Warcraft 2.

    Thanks guys

  • "well..." (by Dr. Spa, 28 Mar 2004) [7/10]
I see what mirsoft thinks about the theme but the 10 min ingame; no thanks. It just is too ambient, slow and the genre 'other'.

Get the theme. Boo the ingame: BOO!

  • "Settle down for a while" (by Warcow, 5 Jun 2004) [10/10]
The first Settlers game has in my opinion the best music and it has a great feeling to it, superb.

  • "In-game music" (by wanderer, 25 Sep 2004) [10/10]
This is one of the best Amiga tunes. I hope Dr.Spa wasn't listening to the 'buggy' slowed down version, that's definitively slow!

  • "SUPERB" (by tonythechevron, 11 May 2005) [10/10]
I've been looking for this tune for forever too and it is easily the best theme song for anything, ever, the end. It reminds me of the 'old days' sitting in my bedroom building farms, cluching fistfulls of cigarettes.

  • "not so good" (by deepblue, 20 Aug 2006) [6/10]
I think settlers was one of the best things ever to happen on the amiga. I was never able to listen to the song because my 2mb amiga would not support it. after all these years, I found the music now, but found it to be rather boring. maybe I have to try it with the game itself.. but the sound effects were much better..

  • "I love this music!" (by krmichal, 13 Sep 2006) [10/10]
Especially the ingame soundtrack. Maybe it is because it reminds me that happy time, when the worst problem I had was how to win next mission in The Settlers. :)

Other tools

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
