User reviews

  • "Orbit Wars" (by Warcow, 28 Apr 2005) [8/10]
This ost is pretty skillfully made, as Mormaeglin said, and can be nice to have as an alternative when you get sick of the original tunes. I must mention that it's pretty fun that a swede is the composer. My recommended song here would be "Waves", a cool dreamy/melancholic tune.

  • "Nice and relaxing" (by pelya, 7 Apr 2005) [8/10]
Quality-made techno, slow a bit for me - original Unreal Tournament music somewhat faster and eagier. Good for single playing mode ;)

  • "Prize of Worth" (by Darth Nefelim, 11 May 2005) [7/10]
Unreal Trilogy became Legend. And any modifications for this classic games will automatically be estimated under the "reign" of its ancestor. As for me, I can trully say this tunes won't ever take a place at the Unreal Throne. But I'm undoubtedly sure it will take a place near this Throne. This music is worthy for its ancestor.

  • "Worth listening..." (by Shinobi, 3 Jul 2007) [5/10]
...but not much more. I've been pretty disappointed, expecting more high quality sounds like those from "Unreal Tournament". Still, some tracks are not bad (especially some parts of "waves" where nice), while others are noisy. When playing a game, they are ok, but for just listening, they are not good enough overall.

Info from Mormaeglin:
Complete soundtrack from a mod for Unreal Tournament called NeoCairo A.k.A Orbital Wars. Hi speed, electronic soundtrack with techno beat and egyptian elements. I`m not a big fan of this kind of music, but i must say that these songs are tracked with outstanding care and skill.even if this is a techno it`s so skillfuly made that even for people who don`t enjoy this kind of music, it will sound great. Recomended song : The Hidden Valley
