  • "Fast techno music, with a tough, hard rock edge" (by cyberium, 19 Apr 2004) [8/10]
Do I remember playing this game some years ago - it rocked, and so does the music. Truly something of its own, Radix would not have been what it is if not for its music. This is fast techno music, with a tough, hard rock edge.

Somebody make more music like this, hard, heavy and fast (pure instrumental only).

  • "Radix will never die!!" (by Xaser, 19 Jun 2004) [9/10]
Wow. I still have the game and everything. I was always looking for a way to get all the music, and here it is!!! Maybe I should start looking here for all my other favorite games...

  • "I can't believe this!" (by drake, 12 Oct 2004) [9/10]
Amazing, one of my dreams come true. I mainly like the first level music, reminds me of my school days.
This has really made my day!

  • "If you like rock..." (by rat4cooler, 19 Sep 2006) [8/10]
All the good stuff from the demo and more. Gets my head banging and takes me right back to the good old days of big fat energy-blasting, point-blank-range guided missiling, exploding fiery metal flying glory! Dunno if it's the chip simulation in the winamp plugin or not, but does sound like the rip was done with a lower number of mixed sounds/instruments in sound setup perhaps (ok forget the tech, all I know is the duration/overlap of some of the notes isn't there quite like I remember from playing). Overall, the music isn't sterling for quality but it's got gutsy character. Give stage 2's theme a chance to heat up, I like!

  • "OMG! Awesome!" (by ThaMarine, 9 Aug 2009) [10/10]
I never forgot about the game, but what has really stayed in my memory was the music. The fast mix of techno and 80s hard rock is really awesome and fits the game totally. The guitar sound, the synth sound, the bass sound... I will never forget it. When I downloaded the music it was exactly how I remembered it.

I also have to say that this influenced my musical prefference and my musical style. I'm currently trying to rewrite it in MIDI, all by ear. I rewrote the whole 1st track. To bad I can't get the full game anywhere.

  • "Nonstop adrenaline!" (by honkstar82, 8 May 2013) [9/10]
This entire archive is packed with aggressively paced songs that perfectly fit Radix's theme. It's chiptune industrial metal, with an attitude that would make DooM stand up and salute. At 14 songs, it's a great pack for when you need a little adrenaline in your everyday life.

Unfortunately, these songs are not labeled any more specifically than "RADIX #" and the like. Having each song matched with its level or general theme would be a great addition, but by no means does this mean you should take a pass on this great pack of in your face metal!
