  • "There's no Final on Final Fantasy" (by Mangamaniac, 5 Nov 2002) [10/10]
I played the game several times, and I really enyoyed listening to Nobou Uematsu's great soundtrack everytime. So I downloaded the OST in mp3 format and could believe how great game music could be..
But then there was a problem..I needed small, nice sounding music files for my website jukebox. After a quite long research, I finally found what I was looking for. The Midis in this package often sound EXACTLY like the original! I could believe my ears.
Download it now, and listen and compare for yourself. Great thing.

  • "Final Fantasy" (by Bal-Nagoth, 1 May 2004) [10/10]
The best game of my Life have even a sundtrack..
When I download it and hear so manny popular melody...
Thanx to father of music N.Uematsu we have a planty of music that is great...

  • "Final Fantastic!" (by Wyted, 23 May 2004) [9/10]
Final Fantasy has long been respected for the high standards of the music that accompanies the games. Final Fantasy 7 is no different.

This is a great addition to the Final Fantasy collection. It is a superb companion for the game and I highly recommend it!

  • "Final Fantasy 7" (by masamune, 31 Dec 2004) [10/10]
The music in ff7 was absoloutly great. SIR Nobou did a wonderful job by combining his music with each characters personality.
The best of the lot has to be the 'ONE WINGED ANGEL.' To those who do not know it is SAFER Sephiroth's battle tune.

  • "One Winged Angel! ROCKS!" (by Darkness Deep Dive, 27 Aug 2005) [9/10]
The Final Fantasy song "One Winged Angel" ROCKS! The best verson has to be the one with the words....it just sounds more battle music type..don't get me wrong the ones without are cool but...they just don't sound so epic.

  • "Better than PSX version!" (by Scooter Fox, 14 Oct 2005) [8/10]
And I really mean it - just listen to famous "One Winged Angel" (I never liked chorus implemented originally there). I respect Nobuo Uematsu's work rather than love it, however there are some of his tunes that I really like, and that's why I'm giving this music an 8.

  • "Nice midi pack" (by jerrymouse, 19 Dec 2005) [9/10]
Totally cool, perfect for the size and quality of the midis.

  • "ff7ostthoughts" (by FS, 9 Apr 2006) [10/10]
Great stuff, the FF7 OST. From the final battles music to the first battle sequence music yeah. Whenever I'm on the computer I listen to it, if I'm not listening to something else for some variety. The character themes rule also the Jenova ones are great. Reminds of of all the times I've crushed Jenova in the game.

  • "Yeah." (by Exil, 26 May 2006) [9/10]
This is whacked, but alot better than the PSX versions of the tunes. :)

  • "Nope, Not For Me" (by Anorak99, 27 May 2006) [7/10]
I've always found Uematsu to be pretty lame to be honest. All melody and no harmony = lose.

  • "MIDIs On the Dot" (by PANDAgirl, 9 Jan 2009) [10/10]
I'm a huge FFVII fan and, of course, I'm a fan of the music. I've been looking for MIDIs for my phone and these are by far the best and close sounding MIDIs to the OST by Nobuo Uematsu. Kudos to the upload :)

  • "awesome music" (by djmatthias, 29 Oct 2012) [8/10]
Favorite tracks being anxious hearts, shinra corporation, sandy badlands and cosmo canyon/ great warrior. They sound VERY awesome in Logic if you substitue the GM instruments for the exs24 and sculpture versions. Almost like a movie soundtrack.

  • "Game rip, not arranged tunes!" (by PelPix, 1 Jun 2016) [10/10]
This is a game rip from the PC version.

Also, they're great. Suggest listening to the XG versions through a DB50XG.
